Capital Area FCU received an award for being one of the top 3 fund raisers for the 2023-2024 campaign, for our total of $10,000.00 donated, all thanks to our AMAZING members and their continued support of all of the events we put on. In conjunction with all the other credit unions who raised money, a check was presented to Special Olympics Maine President/CEO Phil Geelhoed for a little over $86,000!
Come support this worthy cause by joining us here at the credit union on Friday August 2nd from 11am to 2pm for our annual BBQ to benefit Special Olympics Maine; this year sponsored by RA Robinson Landscaping. The owner Rob and his wife Haley will be our grill masters, so show up HUNGRY! Our goal is to raise at least $1,000 or make the cooks run out of food! There will be hot dogs, burgers, chips, drinks and baked goodies, so don’t miss out.
