EXCESSIVE TRANSFER FEES

The Credit Union allows six (6) automatic transfers from your Share (savings) account to your Draft (checking) account per month to cover overdrafts; after the sixth (6) a $10.00 per additional transfer (excessive transfer) fee is accessed. Currently the fee is posted to the Share (savings) account at the end of the month once it tallies how many times you went over your six (6) free transfers.

Starting November 1, 2025, after the sixth (6th) transfer from your Share account, the $10.00 excessive transfer fee will be applied to your account at the time each additional transfer occurs.

PENNIES
As most of you are aware, the US Department of Treasury made the decision to end production of the penny beginning in 2026. Pennies that are already in circulation will remain legal tender, but the coins will become increasingly harder to obtain. As of November 1, 2025, all pennies brought into the credit union will need to be rolled if over $0.50. We will no longer be accepting loose pennies for our coin machine as we have been informed that we can no longer return them to the Federal Reserve.
